Snowfall in Vardenyats Pass and Saravan-Zanger Section

The Rescue Service reports that the roads within the territory of Armenia are mostly passable. Due to the ongoing reconstruction work on the Koreans' Gorge road and considering the risk of landslides, the road has been temporarily closed to traffic since August 19.

Snowfall has been observed in the Vardenyats Pass and the Saravan-Zanger section. Drivers are urged to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Regarding Lars, information from the Georgian Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the North Ossetian Ministry of Emergency Situations indicates that the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
