After the Signing of the Peace Agreement Between Yerevan and Baku, Hope for the Opening of the Armenian-Turkish Border Will Emerge: U.S. Ambassador in Turkey

The energy corridor between Syria and Turkey, as well as between Turkey and Azerbaijan, could be extremely beneficial in the future, stated Tom Barak, the U.S. Ambassador to Turkey. He emphasized that the relationship with Turkey plays a crucial role for both Azerbaijan and Armenia.

According to the diplomat, after the signing of the peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan, there will be hope for the opening of the Armenian-Turkish border. “The extension of the route from the Caspian Sea to the Mediterranean will pave the way for the resolution of all regional energy issues,” Barak noted.
