Peskov on Ways to Resolve the Situation Around Ukraine

Russia is prepared to resolve the situation surrounding Ukraine through peaceful means; however, it sees no such commitment from the European Union and Kyiv. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, in an interview with RT.

"We want peace and are pursuing our goals through peaceful means. However, unfortunately, these peaceful measures and the avenue of political negotiations are being rejected by Europeans and Ukrainians. That is precisely why President Putin decided to start a special military operation," he noted.
