No Significant Documents Found in Pashinyan's Released Papers, Says Arthur Khachatryan
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's released documents contained no significant papers that would ensure the integrity of the Nagorno-Karabakh negotiation process. This was stated today by Arthur Khachatryan, a member of the 'Armenia' parliamentary faction, during a briefing in the National Assembly.
“When Pashinyan released the documents, didn’t you feel a sense of déjà vu? It was just a gimmick with Hrayr Tovmasyan's gimmicky pen. The package was incomplete, and there were no significant documents that would ensure the integrity of the negotiation process,” the MP emphasized.
According to him, there was nothing in the documents about the Madrid Principles, nor any mention of the proposals from the Minsk Group’s five-sided negotiations, while the greatest absurdity was related to the Key West document.
He stated that he had publicized three pages of the Key West document, which indicated that within the boundaries of the Nagorno-Karabakh autonomous region, which was under the control of the Armenian side, Azerbaijan made no demands, and the Lachin corridor had the same status as Nagorno-Karabakh, i.e., it was part of Armenia. Additionally, according to that document, all communication routes were to be unblocked, while in return, Armenia was to grant Azerbaijan an unobstructed corridor.
In response to a question from a representative of the ruling party's media, Khachatryan noted that he possesses a copy of that document, which is from his personal archive and has been kept for a long time; it is his personal property, and he will not discuss its origin. “If the authorities claim that this is a fake document, then they must state what the reality is,” the MP stressed.
