Expansion of US Brands in Armenia is Important for Us - Papoyan

“One of our key priorities is the expansion of American capital and brand presence in Armenia, the increase of American investments, and the growth of export volumes from Armenia to the United States. This is one of the main directions of our agenda,” stated Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan today during a meeting with members of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) council and representatives of the business community in Armenia.

The minister presented to the attendees the state policy in the economic sector, the Government's priorities, the main macroeconomic indicators, and the primary trends in the development of the economy in Armenia. Papoyan also addressed topics such as economic diversification, improvement of the business and investment environment, the establishment of industrial zones, enhancement of local product competitiveness, and several other issues. He also discussed the TRIPP and “Peace Crossroads” initiatives.
