Aliyev: 'The Approach of the Western Azerbaijan Community is Worthy of High Praise' on Armenian-Azerbaijani Relations

The restrained and constructive approach of the "Western Azerbaijan" community, which includes individuals directly affected by displacements and massacres, deserves respect and high praise. This approach emphasizes transparency in reconciliation and dialogue, organizing activities in accordance with international law, and upholding the territorial integrity and sovereignty of states. This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

“The meeting held on August 8, 2025, in Washington under the mediation of the United States between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the signing of a joint declaration, and the preliminary signing of a peace agreement inspire hope and confidence in the future coexistence of the two peoples,” said President Ilham Aliyev.
