Minister of Education on Theoretical Driver's License Knowledge in 12th Grade

I believe this is an excellent proposal, and I support the idea that the driver's education, at least the theoretical part, should become an opportunity for our students in the 12th grade, allowing them to take the necessary exams. This was stated by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan during a Q&A session with the Government at the National Assembly, in response to a question from Lilit Stepanyan, a member of the National Assembly from the My Step Alliance, regarding the possibility of students gaining theoretical knowledge for driver's licenses in their final year of school.

“I am confident that we can at least start testing this, for instance, in high schools, considering the available resources. I definitely view this positively. Thank you for the great proposal for all our learners. I am sure that in the near future we will discuss how we can start implementing this and why not, launch it in September,” noted the Minister.
