He reminded that large-scale military exercises named 'Independence-200' have been ongoing for the past five months due to threats from the United States, which also involve police units.

Maduro criticized Washington's actions towards Venezuela, deeming them as unacceptable pressure on the sovereignty of nations.

Previously, it was reported that U.S. President Donald Trump announced that American armed forces would soon strike ground targets in Latin America as part of the fight against illegal drug trafficking.
