This Year's Budget Increase Exceeds 384 Billion AMD More Than 2017's Entire State Budget, Says Pashinyan
The 2025 budget year is approaching its end, and I want to note that there are 25 days left until the conclusion of the budget year. With our tools and forecasts, we see that the tax revenues of the budget will amount to 2 trillion 700 billion AMD. This is a rounded figure; there might be pluses and minuses. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during a government meeting.
“I want to draw our attention to the fact that if we compare the tax revenues of the 2017 budget with this year's budget, the tax revenues of this year's budget, the increased part of this year's budget, is more than the entire state budget of 2017. This calculation means that the actual tax revenues in 2017 were 1 trillion 158 billion AMD, and this year's only increased segment will amount to 1 trillion 542 billion AMD. The increased part, the conditionally added part, is 384 billion AMD more than the entire state budget of 2017, including the income part,” the Prime Minister noted.
