Putin Issues Statement: Several Provisions Contradict Russia's Position

President Vladimir Putin of Russia has confirmed that American proposals regarding Ukraine were discussed during a meeting at the Kremlin with U.S. Special Envoy Steve Biegun and Jared Kushner, of which some were not accepted by the Russian side. Putin made this statement in an interview with India Today, emphasizing that the issues were presented and received discussion.

According to Putin, several provisions raised by the American side contradicted Russia's position; however, both parties exchanged views and perspectives on the ongoing processes.

It should be noted that Putin hosted U.S. Special Envoy Steve Biegun and Jared Kushner at the Kremlin. The meeting was attended by the president's assistant Yuri Ushakov and Kirill Dmitriev, the executive director of the Russian Direct Investment Fund and the president's special representative for investments and economic cooperation with foreign countries. Reports indicate that the negotiations took place in a positive atmosphere.
