We Have Again Achieved an Absolute Record of Job Openings: Nikol Pashinyan
In October of this year, we have again achieved an absolute record of registered and salaried job openings. This was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during today’s session of the National Assembly, where he discussed the final version of the 2026 state budget.
“As of October 2025, we have 810,074 registered job openings in the country. The increase compared to 2018 is 223,895 or 38 percent. Esteemed colleagues, this marks the fact that since 2018 we have created 223,895 job openings in Armenia,” said the Prime Minister.
According to him, such figures have never been recorded in Armenia’s history for this period, and the growth is consistent. “Year on year, compared to October 2024, 31,000 job openings have been created, which is 4 percent more. The average salary in October is 313,000 AMD, which is an increase of 135,657 AMD or 76 percent compared to 2018,” said the Prime Minister.
Speaking about inflation discussions, Pashinyan noted that salary growth in the country is double-digit, at 20 percent and more, which reflects the level of citizen welfare. The income tax paid in October amounted to 50 billion 699 million AMD, which is almost double—95 percent or 24 billion AMD—compared to October 2018.
