The U.S. Focuses on the Economic Recovery of Ukraine, Rubio

The United States is focused on the economic recovery and future development of Ukraine, emphasized Secretary of State Marco Rubio during an interview on Fox News. According to him, Washington is seeking solutions that will not only strengthen Kyiv's security but also allow the country to rebuild and develop its economy.

"What we are trying to do, and I think there has been some progress already, is to understand what the Ukrainians can agree to in terms of security guarantees for their future, so that they are never again faced with the threat of attack. This will help them not only to rebuild their economy but also to achieve real economic growth," Rubio noted.

In his assessment, if the right steps are taken, Ukraine's GDP could theoretically exceed that of Russia in the coming decade.
