Whitcoff's Aircraft Enters Russian Airspace: Taken Under Control

The aircraft carrying Stephen Whitcoff, the special representative of the US President, has reportedly entered Russian airspace.
According to APA, this information was revealed to the media by the Latvian air traffic control service, through whose territory the aircraft was conducting a transitory flight. "The aircraft crossed the air border with Russia near the 'IGORO' checkpoint at 12:50 Moscow time, after which Russian air traffic controllers took it under control," the agency's source stated.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov announced that the meeting between Putin and Whitcoff will begin at approximately 17:00 Moscow time.
