We Still Cannot Access Iran's Three Major Nuclear Facilities: Grossi

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, stated in an interview with Die Presse that the agency's experts have not yet gained access to Iran's three major nuclear facilities: Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow. These sites suffered serious damage following attacks carried out in June.

Grossi noted that IAEA inspectors have continued to work in Iran; however, several inspections were suspended due to safety concerns after the attacks. He remarked that Iran has limited its cooperation with the agency, although both sides have initiated negotiations in Cairo and reached some agreements.

Inspectors have only been able to visit facilities that were not affected by the strikes, while access to the three main facilities remains closed. It is worth remembering that on the night of June 22, the U.S. targeted Iran's Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan nuclear facilities using GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator type bunker-busting bombs.
