Russia Will Not Interfere in India and United States Relations, Peskov Says

Russia cannot and will not interfere in the relations between India and the United States. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.

“We cannot interfere and do not intend to do so,” Peskov said during a briefing organized by Sputnik India.

Peskov also dismissed the declarations from European countries regarding a “Russian threat” as unfounded, emphasizing that Moscow respects the sovereignty of states.

In response to recent statements from European officials, Peskov pointed out that the formulation of “Russia as a threat to Europe” does not correspond to reality.

During the briefing, Peskov further stated that Russia highly values India’s consistency in protecting its national interests. “We are very sensitive to the right of sovereignty and do not accept any attempts to obstruct our national interests,” he emphasized.
