Russia Strengthens Its Disinformation Campaign in Armenia: Kallas
The European Union has allocated 15 million euros to Armenia as part of an assistance program. This was announced at a press conference in Brussels by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, alongside Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
According to Kallas, these funds will help Armenia finance actions aimed at building trust. “At the same time, Armenia is facing other challenges. Ahead of next year's parliamentary elections, Russia and its authorized agents are intensifying disinformation campaigns in Armenia. We see the same forces in Moldova, and the program is the same. The funds allocated to Armenia will also be spent on exposing, analyzing, and neutralizing foreign interference,” said Kallas.
