Rain, Snow, and Black Ice: The Situation on Roads in Armenia

As of 16:30 on December 2, light snow is falling in the Vanadzor mountain pass and from the area of 'Zanger' in the Sisian region to the village of Sarnakunk, while light rain is noted in the Akhuryan region. This information has been provided by the Road Department.

There is black ice in places on the Vanadzor mountain pass. All interstate and national roads are open. Road construction workers are carrying out cleaning and treatment with salt and sand on the roads.

“Dear drivers, we urge you to be attentive, strictly adhere to traffic rules, and travel exclusively with winter tires,” the message states.
