Europe Blames Russia for Failure in Ukrainian Settlement, Says Putin

Europe is looking to blame Russia for obstructing the peace settlement process in Ukraine. This is how Russian President Vladimir Putin characterized the situation.

“When Europeans attempt to make certain changes to U.S. President Donald Trump's proposal, we see clearly that all these changes are aimed at completely sabotaging the entire peace process, putting forward demands that are absolutely unacceptable to Russia. They understand this and thereby accuse Russia of hindering this peace process. This is their goal; we see this clearly,” Putin told reporters.
