The preventive measure for Artur Sargsyan has changed, says lawyer
The preventive measure for Artur Sargsyan, a member of the National Assembly from the "Armenia" faction, has been changed.
The Court of Appeals, presided over by Judge Mkhitar Papoyan, has granted the motion for special review submitted by Sargsyan's lawyer against the decision to extend his detention period, thus changing his preventive measure.
This information was shared by Sargsyan's attorney, Aram Vardevanyan. The lawyer did not provide further details, as he has not yet received the court's ruling. The defense team will present additional information later.
Preliminary reports indicate that a house arrest combined with a 20 million dram bail has been applied as a preventive measure against Sargsyan.
It is worth recalling that Sargsyan is involved in the "Holy Struggle" case.
