Iran's Foreign Ministry on US Next Steps

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aaraghchi, in a phone conversation with his Japanese counterpart Toshimitsu Motegi, stated that the United States must take actions to restore Tehran's confidence if it wishes to reinstate diplomacy concerning Iran's nuclear program.

According to Tasnim news agency, during the discussions, the parties addressed recent developments related to the nuclear issue, including the positions of the US and the three European countries involved in the 2015 nuclear agreement.

Aaraghchi emphasized, "It is the United States that must restore Iran's confidence in diplomacy."
