Heavy Snow Causes 8000 Flights to be Delayed in the US
According to data from the FlightAware portal, at least 8000 flights in the United States have been cancelled or delayed due to adverse weather conditions.
On November 30, 7460 flights were delayed, while another 664 flights were cancelled. Earlier forecasts had warned of snow and cold weather in several states across the US.
According to CBS News, the highest number of flight delays and cancellations have been recorded at airports in Boston, Massachusetts; Detroit, Michigan; Minneapolis, Minnesota; New York; and Chicago, Illinois.
