Poland's President Cancels Meeting with Orbán Due to Putin's Visit

Poland's President Karol Nawrocki has canceled a meeting with Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán due to Orbán's recent visit to Moscow, announced Marcin Przydacz, head of the President's Office.

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Orbán on Friday, with the negotiations lasting nearly four hours. The Hungarian Prime Minister described the talks with the Russian leader as successful, stating that they guaranteed Hungary's energy supply.

“In connection with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's visit to Moscow and its context, President Karol Nawrocki has decided to limit his trip to Hungary to the Visegrad Group summit,” Przydacz wrote on X.

The next Visegrad Group summit at the level of heads of state is scheduled to take place in Hungary on December 3.
