Russian Military Equipment Has Proven Its Effectiveness in Combat Operations, Says Putin

During a CSTO summit, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russian military equipment has demonstrated its effectiveness in real combat operations, and Moscow is proposing a large-scale program to provide this equipment to the alliance countries. He announced that the next CSTO summit will take place on November 11, 2026, in Moscow.

According to Putin, Russia has collaborated with its allies to strengthen the CSTO's military capability, enhance the combat readiness of national forces, and improve the command and control of collective forces. He emphasized that the most effective Russian weapons and equipment will be allocated to the alliance.

Putin noted that during his presidency, efforts will be made to ensure the continuity of cooperation in key areas of the CSTO. “Moscow intends to develop cooperation based on the principles of alliance, friendship, good neighborliness, mutual respect for interests, and support,” stated the President of Russia.
