Armenian Prime Minister Has No Politically Balanced Rivals: Papoyan

In the political arena of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan has no comparable political rivals. This was stated by the Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, during a conversation with journalists, responding to the question of whether the Prime Minister considers Papoyan to be his political rival following the leadership elections of the ruling 'Civil Contract' faction.

He assured that Hakob Arshakyan has no issues within the ruling team. “He is a key member of the team, he is our friend. The rules apply equally to everyone, including myself, Nikol Pashinyan, Hakob Arshakyan, and other party members,” he noted.

It is worth mentioning that in the election results, the Minister of Economy secured second place, conceding the lead to Pashinyan.

Papoyan also addressed the opening of borders. “The opening of borders will create numerous opportunities for Armenia,” stated the Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, during the conversation with journalists.

“This means we will import the goods they export, and they will import the goods that Armenia exports,” the minister highlighted.

Papoyan announced the publication of a second article dedicated to the specific impact of the border opening between Armenia and Turkey.
