The West Forces Many Former USSR Countries to Abandon the Russian Language, Says Patrushev
The Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Patrushev, has announced the West's attempts to force certain countries of the former USSR to abandon the Russian language and the shared cultural and spiritual traditions. This information comes from TASS.
“Today, the West is compelling many countries of the former Soviet Union to abandon the Russian language, as well as the successful traditions of science, culture, and education. It aims to transform the consciousness and spirituality of our peoples according to the Western model,” said Patrushev during a meeting with the Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus, Alexander Wolfovich.
According to the Security Council Secretary, “the study of the Russian language and its return to the traditional education system will contribute to the economic development and prosperity of countries.”
