Resolution on Circular Economy by Armenia, Mexico, and the Philippines Adopted

On November 27, the 21st session of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization's General Conference took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. During this session, a resolution entitled "Circular Economy for Inclusive and Sustainable Development," jointly presented by Armenia, Mexico, and the Philippines, was unanimously adopted.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the goal of the resolution is to promote a circular economy aimed at more sustainable, resilient, and resource-efficient industrial development. The resolution emphasizes that developing countries need support in their efforts to implement circular economy practices through financing, capacity building, technology transfer, and access to innovative solutions.

It also highlights the importance of expanding support from international financial institutions and development agencies. Furthermore, it stresses that strengthening cooperation can enhance the industrial resilience of developing countries, create jobs, and promote sustainable development.
