I Have Never Given Any Orders Regarding the Withdrawal of Troops from Sovereign Territory, Says Pashinyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a press briefing that the 2021 elections have effectively become a "test" for all issues related to the war. According to him, nothing about the war is unknown to the public, and there is no information in the criminal cases that lies outside of public knowledge.
“This investigation has taken place; I have been interrogated in this case. Moreover, I have been scrutinized by the people. The 2021 elections are the entire investigation,” said Pashinyan, emphasizing that the details regarding the war have been presented multiple times both in investigative commissions and in his speeches.
The Prime Minister also responded to the question of whether he had given orders to withdraw troops from the Republic of Armenia's sovereign territory during the war, stating, “I have never given any orders regarding the withdrawal of any troops from the Republic of Armenia's sovereign territory.”
Pashinyan dismissed the opinion that there might be new or unknown facts in the criminal cases that the public is unaware of. In his view, all significant circumstances related to the war are accessible in public discourse.
