Russia Not Yet Ready to Publicly Discuss Trump's Peace Plan: Sergey Ryabkov

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has stated that the Russian side is not yet ready to publicly discuss the peace plan developed by the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump for resolving the conflict in Ukraine.

“We are not prepared to publicly discuss certain details of what is happening, including the options for this peace plan. Ultimately, time and attention are required for the dialogue process to proceed,” said the diplomat.

Ryabkov had previously emphasized that maintaining the understanding reached during the meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump in Anchorage, Alaska, is very important for Russia in negotiations with the U.S. regarding the resolution of the Ukraine issue.
