Vladimir Putin has officially taken office as the President of the Russian Federation. The inauguration ceremony took place in the Kremlin.

In his speech, he stated that Russia's fate is solely to be decided by them and that they will honorably overcome this challenging phase, emerging stronger than before.

Putin received 87.28% of the votes in the elections held in March. This marks the sixth time since 2000 that Putin has participated in an inauguration ceremony. Previously, such ceremonies were held in 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2018.
