In the lightweight division of mixed martial arts, UFC's top-ranked fighter Arman Tsarukyan expressed his admiration for the middleweight champion, Russian Islam Makhachev, who recently defeated Australian Jack Della Maddalena.

“Islam is currently in his best physical condition, he feels the space, and he fights fantastically; it’s insane. He moves very well, doesn’t waste energy, and strikes at the right moment, knocking down his opponents. Jack Della Maddalena didn’t defend himself against any hit.
