Aliyev Again Accuses Armenia

During a conference in Aghdam (also known as Akna in Armenian), Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev reiterated accusations against Armenia. He stated that during the so-called occupation, the Armenian side placed more than one million landmines in those territories.

According to Aliyev, “This policy of terrorism against Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanis continues.” He also pointed out that since the end of the war, more than 250 Azerbaijanis have either died or suffered serious injuries from landmine explosions, adding that this number continues to rise.
