Fire Reaches Dilijan National Park Area: Ministry of Internal Affairs

The Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs has reported to Ecosphere that as of 6:00 PM, the fire has reached the area of Dilijan National Park. The ministry also noted that firefighting efforts are ongoing.

Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that as of 10:30 AM on November 26, the fire that broke out in the "Kazachi" area of Dilijan, Tavush Province, has been contained. Efforts are still underway in other areas, including near the village of Navur, in the forest adjacent to the winding roads of Dilijan, and around the "Mountain Armenia" hotel.
