Pensioner Voluntarily Surrenders Weapons and Ammunition

As part of the "Kanep-Kakach 2019" complex operational-preventive measure, thanks to the explanatory work of the police officers of the Noyemberyan division, on August 9, a pensioner voluntarily surrendered a homemade pistol, 7 rounds of 5.6 mm caliber ammunition, and a grenade with its detonator.

According to the Armenian Police's Public Relations and Information Department, the citizen reported that the items belonged to his deceased father, who acquired them during the Artsakh Liberation War in 1990. The surrendered items have been seized, packaged, sealed, and sent for examination. Relevant materials are being prepared.
