No One Wants Arman to Become Champion in the UFC, But He Has a Great Opportunity: Former UFC Champion

Former UFC champion Sean O'Malley has shared his thoughts regarding a potential matchup between lightweight ranking leader Arman Tsarukyan and the current champion of the same weight class, Ilia Topuria.

"I don’t think the UFC is going to make a fight between Arman and Ilia. I believe the UFC likes keeping Topuria as champion. No one in the UFC wants Arman to become champion. But he has a great opportunity to beat Topuria. If anyone has the chance to beat him, it’s Arman Tsarukyan," O'Malley stated in a video posted on his YouTube channel.

It is noteworthy that on November 22, Tsarukyan achieved an impressive victory against the sixth-ranked lightweight Dan Hooker in the main event of UFC Fight Night 255 in Doha. In the second round, Arman submitted the New Zealander with a choke, finishing the fight early.
