Weather Hazard Alert Level Yellow: Situation in Saint Petersburg

In Saint Petersburg, a weather hazard alert level yellow has been declared due to heavy snowfall, freezing rain, and glaze, as reported by RIA Novosti, citing the press service of the mayor's office.

According to the forecast from the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, from 09:00 to 19:00 on November 24, the city will experience intense snowfall, icing conditions, and localized wet snow accumulations. These conditions could significantly complicate road traffic.

Authorities are urging citizens, especially drivers, to exercise maximum caution, and due to the high likelihood of accidents, to refrain from using personal vehicles when possible.
