Previously, MPs received black envelopes with $3-5 thousand monthly, we do not do such things: Aghazaryan

During a quadrilateral meeting in Prague, the adopted statement is a significant step towards the signing of a peace treaty, and we are gradually approaching our goal. This was stated by member of the National Assembly from the 'Civil Contract' faction, Hovik Aghazaryan, in an interview with 24News.

According to him, the events of September 13 should not be taken lightly, as the Azerbaijanis aimed to reach Nakhichevan via Jermuk, but this was halted thanks to our army.

Commenting on the decision of the Speaker of the National Assembly to grant bonuses to ruling party MPs, their assistants, and experts, Aghazaryan noted that bonuses are not given systematically as before; this one was granted on the occasion of Independence Day. The question is whether it is a bonus or not.

“Citizens should know that previously, MPs received black envelopes with $3,000-5,000 every month, but we do not do such things. When bonuses are provided, I do not refuse and contribute to any fund; there are places to use them. And the opposition is not working well; it is indeed right not to grant bonuses,” Aghazaryan stated.
