Some Provisions of the US Peace Plan Are Acceptable to Russia: Yuri Ushakov
Mariam Z.
Yuri Ushakov, the assistant to the President of Russia for international affairs, announced that Moscow has familiarized itself with one of the peace plans proposed by the United States, but no specific negotiations have been held on the topic. According to him, several provisions of the plan discussed in Alaska are acceptable to Russia.
Ushakov indicated that the US might establish contact with Russia in the near future to personally discuss the details of the peace plan; however, at this stage, there is no agreement.
He noted that many assumptions are circulating regarding the proposed peace plan for Ukraine, and Russia relies solely on information received directly from the United States.
