CIS Leaders' Meeting Canceled
The meeting of the leaders of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), which was scheduled to take place on December 6, has been canceled at the request of Armenia. This was announced by Yuri Ushakov, aide to the President of Russia, according to TASS agency.
"Taking into account, in particular, the request from the Armenian side, due to the pre-election period, which will conclude on December 9, we decided not to hold the CSTO summit," Ushakov told reporters.
He noted that the responsibilities of the CSTO Secretary General will continue to be carried out by Valery Semerikov.
