Three New Border Posts of NSS Border Forces Opened in Syunik

The protection of the state border is one of the main directions of the activities of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia. With the funds allocated by the Government of the Republic of Armenia, modern border posts are being constructed in accordance with contemporary requirements.

The opening ceremony of the new border posts "Korniidzor", "Khnzoresk", and "Hartashen" took place at the NSS Border Forces unit. The event was attended by the Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, Andranik Simonian, his deputies Aram Hakobyan and David Sanamyan, Commander of the Border Forces, Colonel Garik Muradyan, and other officials.

Director Andranik Simonian welcomed the servicemen of the Border Forces and congratulated them on the opening of the new posts, wishing them a safe service for the benefit of the Republic of Armenia.

During the visit, Simonian toured the newly constructed border posts to assess the living and operational conditions of the servicemen, as well as their weaponry and logistical resources. He also reviewed the living conditions in the officers' quarters, which fully meet modern standards and are equipped with the necessary furniture and technology for the families of the officers stationed at the posts.

At the end of the visit, the Director of the National Security Service issued relevant instructions to the command of the Border Forces.
