Trump Appoints New Special Representative for Ukraine
U.S. President Donald Trump has appointed a new special representative for Ukraine.
Trump has designated U.S. Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll as the new special representative to advance a peaceful plan for ending the war in Ukraine.
According to sources from the publication, a delegation of American military officials, including a group of U.S. generals, is planning to visit Moscow at the end of next week. The purpose of the visit is to discuss the details of the U.S. peace plan directly with representatives of the Kremlin.
Trump has chosen Driscoll as his new special representative. It is noted that Driscoll is a friend and former classmate of U.S. Vice President Jay D. Vance.
