Peace Negotiation Terms Will Be Set by Kyiv; Ukraine Will Not Make Concessions - Kallas
The head of the European Union's foreign policy, Kaja Kallas, has stated that the terms of peace negotiations should be determined solely by Kyiv. According to her, Ukraine itself decides the conditions under which it can resolve the wartime situation.
This stance was reported by Sky News. Kallas noted that Europe and Ukraine strive to end the war, but, as she articulated, "cannot simply yield to aggression." The EU's chief diplomat emphasized that any expectation of concessions to Russia is not open to discussion.
Earlier, Kallas had indicated that the European Union is ready to support any peace initiative if it aims to ensure a "sustainable and just peace" and includes both Ukraine and the EU.
Brussels continues to assert its support for the development of an agreement that will respect Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
