EU to Hold Emergency Summit on Ukraine Issue
The EU's emergency summit dedicated to the Ukrainian resolution topic will take place on November 24 in Luanda, Angola. This was announced by the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa.
Costa wrote on social media that he has invited the leaders of the 27 EU member states to a special summit regarding Ukraine.
It is worth mentioning that Costa discussed the US-proposed plan concerning Ukraine with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and several leaders from G7 countries during the G20 summit held in South Africa.
According to Reuters, leaders from Finland, Norway, Spain, and the Netherlands also participated in the discussions. In a joint statement released after the negotiations, it was noted that the plan presented by the US can be considered a basis for resolution, but some points need to be modified.
