Trump Calls on Ukraine: Now is the Right Time

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he has demanded Ukraine agree to a peace plan by Thursday. From his perspective, "now is the right time."

Trump noted, "Ukraine is losing territory, and Putin sees no end to the war." He added that the proposed plan aims to reduce tension and halt the clashes.

At the same time, the U.S. president announced that he would soon present a plan for new, very powerful sanctions against Russia. According to him, these will complicate the sale of Russian oil on international markets. Trump also emphasized that the U.S. does not intend to ease such restrictions on the oil sector.
