Request Made to Health Ministry for Manvel Grigoryan's Transfer to France

The health condition of former MP and former Chairman of the Union of Volunteers, Manvel Grigoryan, has shown negative dynamics, and he is currently receiving only conservative treatment. His lawyer, Levon Baghdasaryan, stated in an interview with 24News that despite receiving treatment at the best medical centers, no positive changes have been observed, resulting in Grigoryan becoming paralyzed.

“Grigoryan's accompanying illnesses are becoming more dangerous, which was also the reason he suffered a cardiac arrest about a month ago. The diseases are increasing and worsening; Grigoryan's condition can no longer improve, and he cannot receive treatment in Armenian medical facilities,” said Baghdasaryan.

The lawyer announced that they have submitted demands to the Ministry of Health for a decision regarding Grigoryan's treatment to be conducted in France, based on the existing medical records. He also added that legal processes are currently underway in that direction.

Baghdasaryan reported that he visited Manvel Grigoryan yesterday, who is connected to resuscitation equipment 24 hours a day and spends his days exclusively in the presence of caregivers. “His consciousness is intact; it's just that after a brief conversation with him, it becomes evident that he needs certain medical interventions, after which he is able to converse with others again,” added Levon Baghdasaryan.
