Nvidia’s Decision to Export Chips to Armenia is a Significant Political Signal, Says Vahan Costanyan

The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Vahan Costanyan, considers the decision of the US government to export Nvidia chips to Armenia for the construction of supercomputers as a significant political signal.

“The latest development, which was publicly announced today, concerns the decision of the US government to export Nvidia chips to Armenia, which is a very serious political signal. In fact, the United States has a considerable queue for such permits, and prioritizing Armenia in this extensive line indicates that the relations between Armenia and the United States are genuinely strategic in nature,” emphasized the Deputy Minister in a conversation with reporters.

Costanyan also added that currently, Armenia and the US are engaged in work-related negotiations regarding the implementation of the “Trump Road” project to be established in Armenia’s territory. “At this moment, the parties are exchanging comments in a working order. There is already a certain understanding, but since we do not yet have a finalized agreement, I find it difficult to say more,” noted Costanyan.
