New Certification System for Police Officers to Calculate Allowances

A new certification system will be implemented for police officers, the results of which will be used to calculate allowances.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has circulated draft laws on amendments and modifications to the Law on Police Service and the Law on the Remuneration of Persons Holding State Positions and Public Service Positions. This initiative aims to significantly enhance the social security guarantees of police officers and to fill the police system with professional personnel.
