Poland Demands Extradition of Ukrainians Suspected in Railway Explosion, Says Tusk

Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk has announced that two Ukrainian citizens are responsible for a recent sabotage incident on the railway, collaborating with Russian intelligence, as reported by RMF24.

He added that the men fled Poland through the Terespol border checkpoint and Poland will demand the extradition of the Ukrainians suspected in the railway explosion.

The head of the Polish government stated that services are now confident that the attempt to detonate tracks near the city of Mika and the disruption of railway infrastructure in the Pulawy area were two acts of sabotage intended to cause a railway disaster.

Donald Tusk stated that the two identified Ukrainian saboteurs had arrived in Poland from Belarus.

Earlier, Polish authorities reported two incidents on the railway leading to the border with Ukraine. According to Prime Minister Donald Tusk, a section of the railway between Warsaw and Lublin was blown up due to an "unprecedented act of sabotage."

Recall that earlier we reported on Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov’s statement regarding the involvement of Ukrainians in sabotage again, saying, "We are not surprised that Ukrainians are once again involved in the sabotage."
