Explosion in Vagharchapat: Rescuers Retrieve Citizen from Rubble

On November 18, at 07:01, a call was received by the crisis management center of the Armavir regional rescue department reporting that a house had collapsed at the intersection of Mravyan and Nalbandyan streets in Vagharchapat, with a citizen trapped under the debris. Assistance from rescuers was required. This information was provided by a statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ rescue service.

It was noted that a firefighting and rescue team, including one operational unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that an explosion due to a gas leak had occurred in one of the houses on Nalbandyan Street (approximately 60 square meters), causing the house to collapse.

Rescuers cordoned off the area, retrieved one citizen from the rubble, and assisted them to an ambulance.
