Approximately 2 Hectares of Vegetation and 100 Trees Burnt in Tsitsernakaberd Park

On August 21, at 22:35, the "911" service received a report stating that a grassy area was on fire near the "El Garden" café in Yerevan. Three fire and rescue teams from the Yerevan rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.

At 22:45, the fire was classified with a complexity degree of "1-Bis," prompting another fire crew to arrive at the scene.

Seven teams from the Yerevan rescue department and a special operations rescue team from the rescue forces administration participated in extinguishing the fire. It was determined that the fire broke out in Tsitsernakaberd Park.

The fire was contained by 23:58 and completely extinguished by 00:45. Approximately 2 hectares of vegetation and 100 trees were burned.
