Vardevanyan on Samvel Karapetyan

The preventive measure applied to Samvel Karapetyan and the investigations related to deprivation of ownership from the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) are subject to dismissal. This was stated by lawyer Aram Vardevanyan before the court hearing of Karapetyan's case.

“Today at 10:00 AM, the court will discuss the request for extending the detention as a preventive measure. On the same day and at the same hour, there will also be a hearing regarding Samvel Karapetyan's ownership rights at the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC). The fact that both hearings are scheduled for the same day and time is more than telling, considering that both issues are subject to dismissal,” Vardevanyan said.

He also emphasized that they will present their documentation, which includes about one volume of written materials, requests, the absence of responses for some of them, and responses for others. He assured that the investigator will once again read their request in court, which has no relation to Samvel Karapetyan.
